What Feeds Below by Tatiana Schlote-Bonne

📖 About

Petra and Jade are Void divers - guides who lead tourists through the multi-layered subterranean Void filled with dangerous creatures and strange (also dangerous!) plants. Jade convinces Petra to dive to the deeper, more dangerous layers in hopes of securing a payout big enough to make this their last dive. It goes about as well as you might expect.

Hell. Yes.  The creatures! The worldbuilding! The characters! This book is perfect to me in every way. Just pure enjoyment. The descriptions of the Void and its many plants and critters are completely immersive and the body horror is chef's kiss. Tatiana Schlote-Bonne is now on my "I'll read anything she writes" list. What a treat.

What Feeds Below releases on October 6th. Thank you NetGalley and Bindery Books for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
